RPM designed this enclosed pinion case to hold each pinion on its own post, providing 360° protection of your pinion gears. There is no need to tighten the setscrew to hold the pinions in place. The lid prevents the pinion gears from slipping off of their respective posts.
Included are two pinion-to-spur gear ratio charts for both 48 and 64 pitch gears. The appropriate chart can be used to quickly determine how a gear change will affect your final drive ratio. Alternately, you can use the charts to swap gears with limited to no effect on the final drive ratio. RPM Pinion Cases are available in translucent blue or black and hold as many as 15 pinion gears.
