Jato Wide Front Bumper
RPM Wide Front bumpers have become the standard for bulletproof front-end protection. RPM customers have reported that some of the Jato’s internal chassis components are somewhat fragile and in need of added front-end protection from an RPM wide front bumper. By absorbing a large amount of impact force instead of transferring that energy into the chassis, our new 6” wide front bumper can help reduce or possibly eliminate damage to internal chassis components from front-end crashes and collisions. RPM Jato Bumpers have strengthening ribs built in that have a multi-purpose design as well; The ribs not only add strength to the bumper; they act as low friction skid rails allowing the chassis to transition over rough surfaces easily. Additionally, We’ve recessed the mounting screws below the skid surface of the bumper to help protect the screw-heads from damage and dirt build-up. Our wide front bumpers are 130% thicker than the stock bumper adding critical front-edge chassis protection that the stock bumper does not provide.

RPM Jato bumpers are stock replacement parts, mount using existing hardware and can be installed in just a few moments. We mold them in either blue or black out of our indestructible blend of nylons. Jato Front A-arms
RPM front A-arms for the Traxxas Jato are designed as dual-purpose A-arms that can handle the rigors of the backyard basher as well as the hardcore racer. These A-arms have been designed to be more rigid than stock, yet under extreme situations will give slightly to prevent them from breaking and reduce the energy from those impacts from transferring into the more fragile components of the vehicle, which can be harder and more expensive to replace. The rigidity of the new A-arms will please even the most demanding of racers.
RPM Jato A-arms are designed using stock geometry, making them direct, bolt-in replacement parts. Furthermore, we’ve reduced the clearances around the hinge pins and A-arm mounting areas to help reduce slop in the suspension system, providing better, more consistent camber, caster, toe, and wheelbase settings. Head Guard for Traxxas 2.5 Engine Heads
  The RPM Head Guard was designed to withstand the toughest of rollover crashes and beg for more. Our head protector has an additional 0.100” or almost 1/8” of additional thickness on top to add extra skid and impact resistance to the fragile cooling fins of the stock Traxxas 2.5 & 2.5R heads. Additionally, our Head Guard has a positive locking system that absolutely will not allow the Head Guard to pull itself free during a crash.

The RPM Head Guard is designed specifically for the Traxxas 2.5 & 2.5R stock engine head which is currently used in many Traxxas models including the Revo, Jato, T-Maxx, S-Maxx, SportMaxx, Nitro 4-Tec 2.5, & Nitro Rustler 2.5.
