Let’s face it: breaking parts sucks! When a part fails, the day is over. Not when your ride is equipped with RPM performance parts! Our newest muscle-laden product is a rear bearing carrier for the Slash 4x4. The stock version simply can’t handle Short Course carnage like RPM products can. Our version is 100% stock geometry-perfect, but with a few tweaks to improve durability significantly. A ring surrounds the bearing bores, providing additional rigidity while a redesigned camber rod mounting boss helps disperse impact energy more evenly throughout the length of the carrier’s arm. Additionally, the bearing bores in our bearing carriers are designed to hold the bearings tight, meaning absolutely no bearing slop in the bearing bores! We also reduced the endplay of the axles by approximately 1/64”, keeping your rear end tracking perfectly like it’s supposed to.

Obviously they wouldn’t be perfect without our trademark blend of RPM nylons that make our products so indestructible. Our carriers are so strong (like all RPM molded products) that we back them with a limited lifetime warranty against breakage!

While we designed these bearing carriers with the Traxxas Slash 4x4 in mind, they are direct replacement parts for all of the following vehicles as well: Nitro Rustler, Nitro Stampede, Nitro Sport, Rad 2, Hawk 2, Eagle & Blue Eagle LSII!

Traxxas Slash 4x4 Front Bumper & Skid Plate
When Traxxas first announced the 4x4 version of the Slash, RPM customers immediately started asking us if our 2wd version parts would fit it. Sadly, that was not the case. Since then, we’ve been working hard to make all of those RPM parts 2wd owners love, fit on the Slash 4x4 version.

Our three-piece front bumper / skid plate design for the Traxxas 4x4 is simple, yet strong, effective and highly attractive. We made it a three-piece design to give the Slash owner the option of full front-end bash-proof and crash-proof protection with the skid plate mount, skid plate and bumper installed or if they’re racing, they can remove the bumper and use the skid plate mount and skid plate as a light-weight alternative bumper / skid plate that sheds 27 grams (almost a full ounce) of weight from the front end of the truck. Once the race is over, simply reinstall the bumper and full bash protection is once again available!

Our Traxxas Slash 4x4 front bumper design eliminates the bumper support ring and the 4 screws behind the stock bumper while using a thicker skid design to supply the cushioning resistance a basher-proof bumper needs. By eliminating the stock bumper support ring, absolutely no frontal impact crash energy is transferred into the upper half of the differential housing. We supply longer bumper mounting screws as well, so any impact energy from down low has less of a tendency to pull the mounting screws out from the bottom half of the differential housing. With an RPM impact-absorbing front bumper installed, the energy transferred from frontal impacts will be greatly reduced as well.

RPM front bumpers for the Traxxas Slash 4x4 are available in three color options: black on black, blue on blue or a chrome bumper on a gray skid plate. We’re so confident in the strength and durability of these new bumpers that they too come with our unbeatable factory warranty protection.

Light Canister Set
fits the RPM Slash & Slash 4x4 Front Bumper
Our Light Canister Set for the RPM Traxxas Slash 4x4 Front Bumper (#80022, #80023 or #80025) is designed to give the appearance of a Baja Desert Truck with its scale off-road light design. Each of its four lights is modeled after a full-sized, 6” off-road light. Each individual light comes with a light canister (or housing), a clear lens and a light guard.

Our 4-light set also comes with a unique mounting plate that allows all four lights to sit centered in perfect symmetry within the upper and lower bars of our Slash front bumper. The mounting plate uses the same three screws that attach the bumper to the bumper skid plate while keeping the lights recessed and protected by the upper and lower bumper bars.

Yes, the lights look simply awesome on the front of the truck but why did we make them? Well, we wanted to light up the night! That’s right, each of the four light canisters come set-up for a 3mm LED light (not included). Our instructions detail a very simple method to install a set of 4 LEDs in our canisters to carry the fun long into the night. Our calculations show that adding 4 - 3mm LEDs and tying the power source directly into the main battery pack creates a minimal draw of power (only 40mAh) but throws out a nice amount of light to keep the fun going as daylight draws to an end!

For the ultimate in scale-realism, there is nothing better than the RPM Light Canister set. They are available in classic black or bright chrome. Either looks incredible on the truck and adds the finishing touch to any concourse winning paint job!

Quick Adjust Spring Clips

Accuracy is the key to a proper suspension setup. With RPM’s clips, accuracy becomes as close to perfect as you can get! The set includes four spring collars that mount on top of each spring to prevent the spring from rubbing the shock body, and a full set (4 ea.) of four different thickness clips that snap around the shock body. With this set, you can set your shock collars once, and never touch them again!
