Traxxas Slash 4x4 Front or Rear A-arms
Since the release of the Traxxas Slash 4x4, RPM customers flooded our e-mail in-box and called us to let us know how badly they wanted RPM A-arms for these trucks. They’re here! RPM A-arms for the Traxxas Slash 4x4 are everything you’ve come to expect from RPM and more! Take a look at everything we’ve done:

We eliminated the slop in the suspension system, tightening the tolerances around the hinge pins, reduced the fore and aft movement of the A-arms at both the inner hinge pin and at the axle carriers by better than 90% and improved the durability dramatically (they’re made by RPM, enough said). As a bonus, we cut 6.5 grams of weight off of each A-arm! That’s a total loss of just under one ounce of weight simply by replacing your stock A-arms with the RPM versions!

We can’t forget about how much better aesthetically the RPM versions look either. RPM A-arms carry over our traditional look with our 30 degree leading and trailing edges, and huge bosses for the shocks and sway bar mounts. Additionally, you now have the option of a bit of color with either blue or black to choose from.

Tech Notes: RPM A-arms for the Traxxas Slash 4x4 are sold in sets of 1 – left and 1 – right A-arm in each package. Two packages will be needed to complete one truck. The upper hinge pin hole of the rear axle carriers cannot be used (not a stock location for the Slash 4x4) due to strengthening designs that reduce the clearance around the rear axle.

Roof-Mounted Light Bar Set
(fits most Short Course Bodies with a min. 6" of roof width)

Our Roof-Mounted Light Bar Set looks just like the roof light sets of current Baja 1000 trucks. It incorporates six of our light canisters (the same used in the front bumper light set of RPM #80982 & #80983). Each of the six canisters is capable of holding a high intensity, 3mm LED (not included) for the ultimate in nighttime off-road racing experiences. What’s best? These light sets will fit all current 1/10th and most 1/8th scale (although specifically designed for 1/10th scale) “Short Course”-style bodies! That’s right, they will fit the Traxxas Slash, Slash 4x4, Associated SC10, Losi Strike & HPI Blitz to name just a few.

The goal of our Roof-Mounted Light Set was to recreate a scale version of those light bars found in full-sized night racing while striving for some reasonable amount of crash-survivability. What we came up with is a light mount set that uses a unique hinge-based system that in the event of a roll-over, the light bar will collapse against the body to help reduce impact damage. The light set is designed to bolt to the front windshield of the truck (although with sufficient room, it can be mounted to the rear window as well), keeping the profile low and in the perfect position to light up the night! A pair of large backing plates are supplied that help protect the body where the screws hold the light bar in place.

We mold these light bar sets in black, chrome and blue to match or contrast any paint or color scheme.

Each kit comes complete with all necessary mounting hardware, light canisters, molded parts and instructions. The instructions also show how to easily create your own LED light set-up with a few basic electronics skills, some tools and a little patience.

• RC4WD also makes a 10 light LED kit specifically for our light kits that also uses the main battery pack for power. LED's are removable if you prefer to run 4 or 6 LED's instead of all 10.

Tech Notes: LED lights are not included. The RPM Roof-Mounted Light Bar Set can fit any number of applications as long as there is at least 6” of roof width for the light bar body mounts to fit in place. Our spring cups hold the base of the shock spring in place better than the stock parts and, because of our killer material, also tend to stay cleaner. In addition, coupled with the above mentioned spring clips, anyone can add a whole new dimension of color to their favorite Traxxas or Losi vehicle! Two Stage Shock Pistons (Med. - Heavy)
True performance lies in the ability to dial in your suspension. If you’re an intermediate to expert suspension technician, then you have the ability to take your suspension to a new level. Introducing RPM’s two stage shock pistons. In a compressed state, the two halves press together to meter the shock fluid through two holes. As the suspension unloads (in the standard config.), the two plates separate, allowing the fluid to flow through multiple holes, which returns the shock to static position at a higher rate. These pistons are the closest things that R/C can get to full sized racing. Don’t be fooled, even the fastest racers in the world are using them, the trick is to get them to admit it! After all, if everyone used them, who would gain the advantage? Maybe you? This set includes twelve piston sets, three sets of four pistons. (red, green, & purple) Best used on tracks with moderate to major obstacles, or on heavier vehicles. Check out our Piston FAQ page for more information.

Tech Notes: These pistons only fit stock, molded Traxxas shock bodies. Traxxas Big Bore Shocks will require some slight sanding with a fine grit sand-paper on the outside diameter of the pistons to get them to fit properly.

Snap Tite Body Savers
One of the weakest points on a Lexan body is where the body mounts to the chassis. The holes cut in the body for the body posts have a tendency to crack & fracture. This is the reason RPM designed these cool body savers. With their ideal two piece design, it allows one piece to slide through the bottom of the body while the second piece snaps into place from the top of the body. These body savers stay right where you put them, on the body, so you never have to worry about chasing them around! Improve the life of your body significantly with a set of these Body Saver Washers installed!
These body savers fit 1/4" or 6mm dia. body posts such as those found on the Traxxas Slash, Slash 4x4, Traxxas Slayer, many Losi 1/10th scale vehicles and most sedan 6mm. body posts. Molded in black nylon or a dyeable white, these Snap-Tite Body Saver Washers will match or contrast any paint scheme you create!

What's Included: Sold in sets of five body savers in each package. That's four for the body posts and one for either the antenna hole or a transponder mount.

Tech Notes: RPM Body Saver Washers have been tested to fit stock Slash and Slash 4x4 bodies. Due to the variety and amount of bodies available, we cannot guarantee they will work with all aftermarket bodies.
