 Associated
Shock Shaft Guards
With
the successful launch of RPM Shock Shaft Guards for Traxxas
Shocks, we knew we needed to make another version to work with Associated
shocks as well. The wait is over!
RPM
Shock Shaft Guards for Assoc. 1/10th scale shocks are a simple design,
replacing your stock shock spring cup with one that has a thin but tough
shield rising up to the base of the shock body, completely
blocking debris from striking the shock shaft. The back and sides are
open, which prevents debris from building inside the guard as well. The
kit comes with replacement oversized shock rod ends, improving durability
and consistency on the shock pivot ball. Additionally, we redesigned the
top of the rod end so it is square. That square end keys the shock shaft
guard for directional control. The front shield of the guard covers over
100 degrees of frontal exposure! RPM Shock Shaft
Guards are zero friction protection devices, meaning the guard never
touches the working elements of the shock.
RPM
Shock Shaft Guards are sold in sets of four, including four rod ends for
the shocks. Nothing more is needed for installation. A short list of
vehicles these guards work with include: SC10, T4, B4, GT2 and most older
versions of these vehicles such as the T3, B3, T2, B2, RC10T and RC10. RPM
Shock Shaft Guards are stock replacement items.
Tech
Notes: RPM
Shock Shaft Guards fit most Assoc. 1/10th scale shocks. However, they will
not work with Assoc. SC10 4x4 or MGT shocks.

Quick Adjust Spring Clips
for Assoc. Shocks

Accuracy is the key to a proper suspension setup. With
the stock spring collars, there is no way of knowing if one shock is set up similar to the
next. With RPMs clips, all the guess work is removed and accuracy
becomes as close to perfect as you can get! The set includes four spring collars that
mount on top of each spring to prevent the spring from rubbing the shock body, and a full
set (4 ea.) of four different thickness clips that snap around the shock body, effectively
eliminating the need for shock collars!

Spring Cups for Assoc. & HPI Shocks

RPM designed these spring cups to help alleviate the frustrations sometimes
associated with shock maintenance. Your shock springs rest in these cups at the base of
the shock. Sometimes, during disassembly, stock cups get clogged with debris and become
difficult to remove and clean. These cups are easy to remove, clean, and reinstall and
have a better shelf for the springs to rest on. In addition, our lower
spring cups are molded in a variety of colors for added personalization of
your favorite ride.
Tech
Note: Associated Monster GT owners, please take a look
at our Lower Spring Cups for Losi
& Traxxas Shocks. The spring diameters are larger on the MGT and
requires the use of the larger Losi & Traxxas spring cups.

Two Stage Shock Pistons
(Light-Medium)

True performance lies in the ability to dial in your suspension. If youre an intermediate
to expert suspension technician, you have the ability to take your suspension to a
new level. Introducing RPMs two stage shock pistons. In a compressed
state, the two halves press together to meter the shock fluid through two holes. As the
suspension unloads (in the standard config.), the two plates separate, allowing the fluid
to flow through multiple holes, which returns the shock to static position at a higher
rate. These pistons are the closest things that R/C can get to full sized racing.
Dont be fooled, even the fastest racers in the world are using them; the trick is to
get them to admit it! After all, if everyone used them, who would gain the advantage?
Maybe you? They come in sets of 12, three sets of four pistons. (white, blue, &
yellow) Best used on tracks with small to moderate obstacles and rough sections.
