RPM Shock Towers for the SC10 & T4 are designed to improve the structure and durability of these awesome racing trucks. The I-beam shape found along the tops and sides of our shock tower provide some serious strength and rigidity while the chemical make up of our proprietary blend of nylons provides unmatched durability. The end result – a new shock tower design that will rigidly support the rear shocks while allowing the part to survive under extreme crash situations.

Additionally, the unique nature of our materials will help reduce transferred impact energy into the fragile chassis and chassis components. By absorbing that impact energy instead of transferring it on, our shock tower will improve overall crash survivability of the truck. All this and not one gram is added to the weight of the vehicle. Rear Axle Carriers
for the Associated SC10, T4, B4 & B44
RPM steps up to deliver a superior axle carrier design while using the larger outer bearings found in Associated’s #9730 axle carriers (common to some B4’s and all B44’s). The larger outer bearing supports the axle better, providing over 1/16” more axle contact than two 3/16” x 3/8” standard bearings, for smoother, longer lasting performance. With the larger outer bearing and RPM proprietary materials, we found the perfect blend of strength and durability for a whole range of Associated 1/10th scale electric vehicles!

RPM axle carriers are molded in black, factory-backed by our industry-leading warranty program and are proudly manufactured in the USA!

Tech Notes: RPM #70172 Axle Carriers (bearings not included) are stock replacement parts for the B44 while the SC10, T4 & B4 may require the use of Associated #7935 outer bearings. RPM rear axle carriers fit all versions of the vehicles listed.

SC10 & T4 Rear A-arms
RPM SC10 / T4 A-arms were designed to solve critical durability issues stemming from stock rear A-arms. Our SC10 / T4 rear A-arms are designed to withstand some serious abuse!

Our A-arms are over 25% thicker around the hinge pins than the stock versions which translates into pure RPM muscle to help eliminate damage during those “Wow, did you see THAT crash!” moments. Other design improvements include angled leading and trailing edges of the A-arms, which help the A-arms transition up and over objects much better than the blunt surfaces of the stockers.

We also focused on the hinge pin retaining system used on the stock A-arms. Using a small screw hole so close to the hinge pin like the stock arms do weakens the A-arms. We moved the hinge pin retaining screws in-line with the hinge pins, significantly strengthening our A-arms in the process. By eliminating the smaller 2-56 hinge pin retaining screws, we’ve also eliminated the problem of the hinge pins falling out due to varying screw head diameters.

Our final focus was on slop elimination. Our strict quality control allows us to tighten up all of our tolerances without fear of binding the suspension system. The final result is a smooth, free moving suspension system with minimal slop. Our tighter tolerances on our A-arms allows other critical adjustments such as camber and toe angles to be much more consistent, providing better and more consistent control of the SC10 or T4.

RPM SC10 / T4 A-arms come with all necessary mounting hardware and instructions. RPM SC10 / T4 A-arms are sold in pairs and are backed by our industry-leading breakage warranty.

Combine a set of RPM rear A-arms with a set of RPM fronts arms (#70762 or #70765) and if you crash, you’ll still finish your race, not your day!

RC10 Rear A-arms
These A-arms are the second set in our retro release to help all of those venerable, yet competitive RC10’s still running out there. Carriers & 1/4" x 1/2" Bearings

Super-strong bearings that have three times the load rating of the stock bearings highlight this set of ultra-durable rear carriers. These bearings will hold up much longer for smoother and more dependable operation. RPM carriers are designed to remove most of the power-robbing, telescoping action of the dogbones (universal shafts).

At some point, the designers at Associated decided to change from 1/4" dia. axles to 3/16" dia. axles on their truck kits. In order to accommodate this change, RPM added this 3/16" x 1/2" bearing kit to our product line. Use this kit in conjunction with #7027 carriers only!
