SC10 & T4 Rear A-arms
RPM SC10 / T4 A-arms were designed to solve critical durability issues stemming from stock rear A-arms. Our SC10 / T4 rear A-arms are designed to withstand some serious abuse!

Our A-arms are over 25% thicker around the hinge pins than the stock versions which translates into pure RPM muscle to help eliminate damage during those “Wow, did you see THAT crash!” moments. Other design improvements include angled leading and trailing edges of the A-arms, which help the A-arms transition up and over objects much better than the blunt surfaces of the stockers.

We also focused on the hinge pin retaining system used on the stock A-arms. Using a small screw hole so close to the hinge pin like the stock arms do weakens the A-arms. We moved the hinge pin retaining screws in-line with the hinge pins, significantly strengthening our A-arms in the process. By eliminating the smaller 2-56 hinge pin retaining screws, we’ve also eliminated the problem of the hinge pins falling out due to varying screw head diameters.

Our final focus was on slop elimination. Our strict quality control allows us to tighten up all of our tolerances without fear of binding the suspension system. The final result is a smooth, free moving suspension system with minimal slop. Our tighter tolerances on our A-arms allows other critical adjustments such as camber and toe angles to be much more consistent, providing better and more consistent control of the SC10 or T4.

Roof-Mounted Light Bar Set
(fits most Short Course Bodies with a min. 6" of roof width)

Our Roof-Mounted Light Bar Set looks just like the roof light sets of current Baja 1000 trucks. It incorporates six of our light canisters (the same used in our Traxxas Slash front bumper light set of RPM #80982 & #80983). Each of the six canisters is capable of holding a high intensity, 3mm LED (not included) for the ultimate in nighttime off-road racing experiences. What’s best? These light sets will fit all current 1/10th and most 1/8th scale (although specifically designed for 1/10th scale) “Short Course”-style bodies! That’s right, they will fit the Traxxas Slash, Associated SC10, Losi Strike & HPI Blitz to name just a few.

The goal of our Roof-Mounted Light Set was to recreate a scale version of those light bars found in full-sized night racing while striving for some reasonable amount of crash-survivability. What we came up with is a light mount set that uses a unique hinge-based system that in the event of a roll-over, the light bar will collapse against the body to help reduce impact damage. The light set is designed to bolt to the front windshield of the truck (although with sufficient room, it can be mounted to the rear window as well), keeping the profile low and in the perfect position to light up the night! A pair of large backing plates are supplied that help protect the body where the screws hold the light bar in place.

We mold these light bar sets in black, chrome and blue to match or contrast any paint or color scheme.

Each kit comes complete with all necessary mounting hardware, light canisters, molded parts and instructions. The instructions also show how to easily create your own LED light set-up with a few basic electronics skills, some tools and a little patience.

Tech Notes: LED lights are not included. The RPM Roof-Mounted Light Bar Set can fit any number of applications as long as there is at least 6” of roof width for the light bar body mounts to fit in place. Front A-arms for the Assoc. SC10 & T4
(See "Tech Notes" Below)
Although designed for the Associated GT2 gas truck, these a-arms are a perfect fit for the Associate SC10 and T4. RPM SC10 / T4 / GT2 A-arms were designed to solve several customer-related complaints about the stock A-arms. Foremost is durability. Our SC10 / T4 / GT2 front A-arms are designed to withstand some serious abuse! We’ve redesigned the entire front end, replacing the stock front bulkhead with a version that helps spread impact forces over a larger area at the inner hinge pin mounts. RPM front A-arms are wider at the inner hinge pin mounts by nearly 3/16” without altering suspension geometry.

We also focused on the hinge pin retaining system used on the stock A-arms. Using a small screw hole so close to the hinge pin like the stock arms weakens them at that point. We moved the hinge pin retaining screws in-line with the hinge pins, significantly strengthening our A-arms in the process. By eliminating the smaller 2-56 hinge pin retaining screws, we’ve also eliminated the problem of the hinge pins falling out due to varying screw head diameters, which seems to be a rather large problem.

Tech Notes: RPM Front A-arms can be used on the Associated SC10 & T4 although the outer front SC10 / T4 hinge pins will need to be replaced with the outer front hinge pins from the GT2 (Assoc. #7927). Additionally, the upright spacers used on the SC10 / T4 will no longer be needed.
RPM Front A-arms require the use of the bulkhead supplied in the RPM front A-arm kit. Stock bulkheads will not work with RPM A-arms. Please note, RPM GT2 rear A-arms will not work on the SC10 or T4.

SC10, B4 & T4 Gear Cover

RPM gear covers for the Associated SC10, B4 & T4 are built to the highest RPM standards of quality, fit, and finish. RPM SC10, T4 & B4 gear covers are completely sealed, preventing even the smallest particles from entering the gears. The spur area of our gear cover has been slimmed down for the wing on a B4 to fit over without interference. They also come with two 4-40 SHCS mounting screws that eliminate the stock button head screws. This means easier access to the pinion & spur gears since the gear cover can be removed using a ball driver – no removing the tire to get to those tiny button head screws! Our gear covers also come with our oversized, soft plug for quick and easy access to the slipper adjustment nut for instant trackside adjustments. RPM SC10, B4 & T4 Gear Covers are built from our trademark blend of bulletproof nylons and carry our lifetime warranty against breakage.
