Our first roof-mounted light bar sets (#80922, #80923 & #80925) worked on all 1/8th and 1/10th scale Short Course bodies, leaving a huge gap in who could run lights on their vehicles. The RPM Narrow Roof-Mounted Light Bar Set cuts a full 2” off of the width, reducing the number of LED light canisters to four and allows virtually anyone running a vehicle with a minimum 4” body width to run LED lights on their vehicle. The list of vehicles this includes is quite extensive, including many popular sellers such as: Traxxas T-Maxx, Traxxas Revo, Traxxas 1/16th scale Mini Slash, Traxxas Rustler, Traxxas Stampede, Associated MGT, Associated T4, HPI Savage, HPI E-Firestorm, HPI E-Firestorm Flux, Losi LST/LST2, Losi XXX-T, Duratrax Evader and many, many more!

The goal of our Narrow Roof-Mounted Light Bar Set was to recreate a scale version of those light bars found in full-sized racing while striving for some reasonable amount of crash-survivability. Our Light Bar Set uses a unique hinged system that in the event of a rollover, the light bar will fold against the body to help reduce impact damage. The light set is designed to bolt to the front windshield of the truck (although with sufficient room, it can be mounted to the rear window as well), keeping the profile low and in the perfect position to light up the night. Each kit comes with a pair of large backing plates that help protect the body where the screws hold the light bar in place.

Each kit comes complete with all necessary mounting hardware, light canisters, molded parts and instructions. The instructions also show how to easily create your own LED light set-up with a few basic electronics skills, some tools and a little patience.

We mold these light bar sets in black and chrome to match or contrast any paint and color scheme.

Associated Monster GT Axle Carriers

Stock bearings and axle carriers aren’t quite strong enough to handle the punishment Associated MGT owners dish out. In addition, more strength is needed at the axle carrier when offset wheels are used or when aluminum accessories and oversized wheels & tires add more weight and stress to the driveline. Once again, RPM steps in where no one else has! We have completely redesigned the axle carriers for the maximum amount of strength and durability and included some seriously beefy 15mm. bearings to top it all off! RPM Axle Carriers

RPM Oversized 15mm. Bearings

• A full 15mm. in diameter – that’s 3mm. larger than stock!

• 1mm. wider than stock bearings, with 2 bearings per axle, that’s an extra 2mm. per axle of contact with the axle shaft for smoother, longer-running performance.

• 100% Stainless steel construction for rust free dependability and its longer-wearing characteristics versus chrome steel bearings.

• RPM Bearings have friction-free blue nylon seals for the ultimate in dirt protection and can easily be cleaned using our RPM Bearing Blaster (#81170).

• Actual bearing ball diameters are a full 33% larger than stock.

• RPM oversized bearings have more than twice the load rating of stock chrome steel bearings and have over three times the fatigue life of stock as well!

• Prelubed with lightweight oil for efficient & minimal rolling resistance.

RPM axle carriers are sold in pairs. One truck will need two pairs to cover all four corners of an Associated MGT truck for complete, RPM bulletproof protection. RPM replacement oversized bearings are sold in sets of four bearings per package.

Tech Notes: Associated MGT owners must use RPM #80010 Pillow Ball Setscrews & Bushing Caps. Stock MGT pivot ball setscrews are not compatible with RPM axle carriers. Additionally, RPM #80010 comes with spacers that prevent the bearings from binding when the axle nut is tightened. TWO packages of #80010 will be needed to complete one truck. Some MGT owners have reported a problem with the drive pin not lining up with RPM axle carriers - Read more here.

RPM Recommendations: To prolong the life of your bearings, RPM recommends the use of our #81170 Bearing Blaster. For accurate camber adjustments, please consider the use of our #70950 Monster Camber Gauge.

Quick Adjust Spring Clips

Accuracy is the key to a proper suspension setup. With RPM spring clips, accuracy becomes as close to perfect as you can get! The set includes four spring collars that mount on top of each spring to prevent the spring from rubbing the shock body, and a full set (4 ea.) of four different thickness clips that snap around the shock body. With this set, you can set your shock collars once, and never touch them again! Available in four different color choices to blend with any paint or chassis color schemes.

Lower Spring Cups
RPM spring cups hold the base of the shock spring in place better than the stock parts and, because of our killer material, also tend to stay cleaner. In addition, coupled with the above mentioned spring clips, anyone can add a whole new dimension of color to their favorite Traxxas or Losi vehicle! These lower spring cups also fit the Associated MGT. Nothing looks better than a complete suspension set-up dressed up with RPM team colors! RPM spring cups are available in Bold Black, Blue, Yellow and Purple!
